JANUARY 23, 2020  B.A. Shapiro

B.A. SHAPIRO is a New York Times bestselling author whose novels weave mystery with art. The Muralist illuminates the art world of the 1940s with the life and mysterious disappearance of a brilliant young artist on the eve of World War II. The Art Forger has appeared on many bestseller lists—including the New York Times, Boston Globe, LA Times, Minneapolis Star-Tribune, and Amazon.

Publisher’s Weekly calls her latest novel, The Collector’s Apprentice, “a clever and complex tale of art fraud, theft, scandal, murder, and
revenge…set in the 1920s art scene in Paris and Philadelphia.”
After the birth of her second child, Shapiro left a high-pressure corporate job to pursue her writing career.  In addition to eight novels, she has also written four screenplays and the non-fiction book, The Big Squeeze. She lives in Boston with her husband Dan and is working on her ninth novel.

FEBRUARY 27, 2020  SUZI WEINERT

SUZI WEINERT  is the award-winning author of the Garage Sale mysteries—Garage Sale Stalker, Garage Sale Diamonds and her latest, Garage Sale Riddle.

The wife of an Army officer and mother of five, Weinert moved her family eleven times over the years, drawn to garage sales out of necessity. But a spine-chilling experience at one sale led her to write a short story that would become the basis of her page-turning thrillers.

Her novels combine suspense with more serious themes, exploring society’s treatment of its youngest and oldest members.  Hallmark Channel has turned Weinert’s novels into a highly successful series of TV movies.

A member of the Mystery Writers of America and Sister-in-Crime, Weinert divides her time between Naples and the Virginia countryside where her novels are based.
